Restricted Email Domains Automatically Blocked

NEWTON, MA, (February 11, 2005) – FreshAddress, Inc., a leading email services provider, announced today the integration of the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Wireless Domain List into its email address database solutions. Restricted addresses will be automatically flagged for suppression or removal, thus enabling FreshAddress, Inc. clients to easily comply with this new component of the CAN-SPAM Act.

"Integrating the FCC´s wireless domain list into all of our email services is just another example of our efforts to return the highest possible value to our clients everyday," said Austin C. Bliss, President of FreshAddress, Inc. "Adding wireless domains was the next logical step as we already block retired domains, suspect addresses, and typos."

On February 7, 2005, the FCC released a list of 189 email domains which are associated with mobile phones. The Commission´s Order as required by the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 (the "CAN-SPAM Act") established rules to protect wireless subscribers from commercial email messages. All companies and sending entities have only 30 days to comply with this prohibition and restrict wireless email domains from future messaging.

"We're pleased to the be first vendor to announce the full integration of these new CAN-SPAM restrictions into our service offerings," said Bill Kaplan, CEO of FreshAddress, Inc. "From our patented ECOA (Email Change of Address) to our multi-sourced Email Appending services, FreshAddress has always been at the cutting edge of enhancing our clients' customer databases."
