NEWTON, MA --- The Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) has announced the 2010 Winners and Finalists of the New England Innovation Awards. Chosen from a field of 162 nominees including both non-profit organizations and for profit companies, FreshAddress, Inc. of Newton, Massachusetts was among the twelve companies honored as finalists.

Nominations were submitted for companies in varying fields such as technology, medicine, manufacturing, service (profit and non-profit), retail/distribution, and media/social networking. Past Award winners include some of the most recognizable names in New England business including Staples, Genzyme, PictureTel, Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, inc., Nantucket Nectars, ZipCar, and iRobot.
