2.7 Million Emails Help Nonprofits Raise Awareness and Funds
NEWTON, MA, (November 22, 2005) - FreshAddress, Inc., a leading email services provider, today announced that it provided a total of 2,740,579 updated email addresses for free to help fundraising and outreach efforts of nonprofit organizations involved with the Hurricane Katrina & Rita relief efforts.
Organizations that took advantage of the offer of no-cost email appending and patented Email Change of Address (ECOA) solutions for their member databases included the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Volunteers of America, and Save the Children. Over one million dollars in hurricane relief donations are estimated to have been raised by these organizations through this program.
"On behalf of our nation's paralyzed heroes, Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) would like to thank FreshAddress for providing an email append to our database for our disaster relief efforts. This generous opportunity will help us to further our legacy of commitment to provide quality services to our members at no cost," said Chun Y. Gee, PVA Associate Director of New Ventures.
To meet the urgent needs of affected parties, FreshAddress, Inc. prioritized the processing and offered an expedited turnaround time on these relief projects.
