Working at FreshAddress: Meet Paul Ercolino, Political Campaign Monetization Specialist

We are so excited to welcome veteran Direct Marketing professional, Paul Ercolino, to our team!  Paul comes to FreshAddress with over twenty years of sales experience in the direct mail space.  Previously, Paul served as President of US Monitor, the nation’s leading mail monitoring and list protection service, and has worked with numerous non-profits and political campaigns.  Paul’s arrival also marks the company’s opening of its first New York office!

Q: What is your professional background?

Before starting at FreshAddress, I worked five years as a Radio News Anchor/Reporter.   I worked for WHNZ Newsradio 570 in Tampa, FL., 100.7 WHUD in Peekskill, NY., and WRKL AM 910 in Rockland County, NY.  Most recently I served twenty years at US Monitor, including the last eight years as President, where I was responsible for transitioning US Monitor from a traditional direct mail business to a 21st century multi-channel direct marketing leader.

Q: What’s your favorite part about your role at FreshAddress?

I have a passion for politics and love the challenge of helping my friends from the Direct Mail world with the transition to digital marketing by cleaning, correcting, growing and leveraging their email lists for maximum return on investment.

Q: What are some things you enjoy when you’re not thinking about work?

Running the Steven Ercolino Memorial Foundation.  I also love all sports, and have a special passion for the New York Mets and Syracuse Orange Basketball and Football.

Working at FreshAddress: Meet Kathleen Rogers, Account Executive

We are thrilled to welcome industry expert, Kathleen Rogers, to our FreshAddress family!  Kathleen comes to us with over ten years of sales experience in the data world.  Kathleen has a significant track record in business development with Intel and Blackbaud, and is a pioneer in go-to-market partnerships and programs.  Kathleen’s arrival also marks the company’s opening of its first West Coast sales office based in Santa Barbara, CA!

Q: What is your professional background?

Before FreshAddress, I was Director of Marketing and Product Development at NOZAsearch Philanthropy Data Services, later acquired by Blackbaud, Inc.,  where I led sales, marketing, partnerships and product development.  I was the first Product Manager to successfully implement e-commerce capabilities in its 30-year history.  Most recently, I served as Director of Engagement at a Santa Barbara tech company.

Q: What’s your favorite part about your role at FreshAddress?

FreshAddress is a great place to work! I am passionate about innovation and creativity so digital marketing is a great fit. I love helping nonprofit, academic and business clients increase engagement and revenue through email and social marketing campaigns. The growth of digital marketing is a very exciting opportunity. The best part of my day is helping clients clean, grow and enrich their customer lists, but there are lots of challenges and ways sending infrastructures can be damaged if you simply blast emails, so it is great to tell someone “67% of your list is SafeToSend and we removed 155 SpamTraps.” I also love building go-to-market partnerships with innovative companies to bring expertise and value to customers.

Q: What are some things you enjoy when you’re not thinking about work?

Music, reading, running, hiking and hanging out with my awesome daughter. I also love the ocean and great outdoors!

Q: Favorite quote(s)?

“When you’re curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.” -Walt Disney
