4 Valentine’s Emails Hand Picked 4 You!

Valentine’s Day is almost here and we want to inspire you with some great email designs for this love filled holiday. It’s not too late to get your email campaign ready! Here are 4 great Valentine’s Day emails from a designer’s point of view.

1. Sephora

Subject Line: We Love You The Most…

Why I Love It:
Sephora used their usual brand color and font style but they added a bit of flare by using a subtle GIF. It’s a clean, simple email with Valentine’s Day imagery, colors, and copy.

2. Alex and Ani

Subject Line: We Have A Confession…

Why I Love It:
Alex and Ani took a different route when creating their Valentine’s Day campaign. Since it’s pretty cliché to send V day emails with hearts, cupids, and roses, Alex and Ani decided to avoid that and add a fun story using their popular bracelet charms. This is a great email that shows off their product and shows love to their customers!

3. BCBG Max Azria

Subject Line: #BonChicLove! WATCH the video, browse our favorite couples + take the quiz.

Why I Love It:
BCBG decided to go with a Valentine’s Day video, a very popular trend in email design this year. Adding a video to your email is a good way to catch your reader’s attention quickly and better advertise your brand. Note that they didn’t add a video player to their email but instead just a link to watch the video on their website. This is a smart way to avoid technical problems with different email clients.

4. Estee Lauder

Subject Line: Feel the Love

Why I Love It:
This is such a creative and fun design. Estée Lauder used an ordinary Valentine’s Day theme of red lips and made it extraordinary by creating a fun GIF using their lipstick products. The email design itself is pretty simple but it catches your attention and makes you want to “Feel the Love.” (See how they incorporated their subject line with the center button?)
