Q: What’s your background experience?

A: I have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, worked for a few years as a sales representative, data intern and tech support before I started working for FreshAddress.

Q:How long have you been working for FreshAddress?

A: 7 years, 2 months and 22 days

Q: If you could give one tip to everyone doing email marketing, what would it be?

A: Follow the best practices when doing messaging campaigns. Choose a proper subject line, maintain feedback loops, maintain suppression lists, and have the appropriate links in place for opt-ins/opt-outs. Also, make sure that the HTML permission email meets the appropriate W3C standards, and that it renders as expected on most of browsers including mobile devices.

Q: What’s your favorite part about being a software engineer?

A: Constantly being challenged and learning new things all the time.

Q: What are some things you enjoy when you’re not coding?

A: I enjoy reading about the new technologies, philosophy and psychology (I know these are not related to each other  – grin ). I also enjoy learning new languages, going to dance classes, hiking, playing pool and hanging out with friends.
